From 2019 to 2023, I served as the sole Public Information Officer for the City of Chattanooga Department of Public Works. I shaped and maintained the department’s public image, ensuring a strong, positive presence. I delivered critical updates to citizens, explaining department activities and their impact while educating them on responsibilities, fostering community trust. I designed all graphics, internal promotions, press releases, social media posts, videos, and photography, showcasing a versatile skill set in visual storytelling. Additionally, I served as the primary point of contact, liaising effectively with the press and citizens to enhance communication and engagement.

I worked as a Contract Graphic Designer for AVM Enterprises, a B2B hospitality provider. In this seasonal role based in Ooltewah, Tennessee, I contributed to brand awareness by creating digital ordering forms, sales flyers, online ads, emails, sales newsletters, interactive PDF forms, and fax order forms. My work supported the company’s efforts during a period of increased virtual sales.

My duties included designing social media ads, managing social media content, creating designs for t-shirts and tumblers, revamping customer logos, laying out awards, producing a monthly internal newsletter, designing company shirts, and creating wraps for vehicles and cornhole boards.

From 2012 to 2019, I navigated a diverse range of roles, from fueling aircraft at BNA to working on a manufacturing line, while also building a freelancing career. During this period, I collaborated with various clients, including The South Side Social Club—a vibrant hub for young professionals—where I crafted engaging designs. I also partnered with Medify, a social media PR firm, contributing to their creative strategies, alongside one-time gigs and smaller projects that honed my versatility. This journey shaped my preference for stable employment, a supportive workplace, and an organization I can help thrive.
